The London Nationals are pleased to announce the promotion of Ken Beckett to General Manager. David Cole, who has served as Interim General Manager, will move into a Special Advisory role for Business & Hockey Operations.
A London resident, Beckett sees the opportunity as a homecoming and is ready to build on the Nationals’ history in the city and the GOHL.
“As a London resident, this opportunity is truly a homecoming for me. Junior hockey has such a rich history in this city, and I recognize the responsibility that comes with leading an organization with the tradition and legacy of the London Nationals.
“My commitment is to build on that history and restore the Nationals to their place as a cornerstone franchise in the GOHL. That means building a strong culture, developing quality players, competing for championships, and creating an organization that our players, alumni, fans, sponsors, volunteers, and community can be proud of.
“The goal is to bring a Sutherland Cup back to London, and I’m grateful to Dean and Brenda Pomerleau for the opportunity, motivated by the challenge, and ready to get to work. Let’s go, Nats!”
The Nationals thank Cole for stepping into the Interim General Manager role and for his continued support of the organization in his new advisory position.
