A poised puck mover with strong hockey sense, Burleigh brings a calm presence on the back end and the ability to make plays under pressure.
The left-shot defenceman made a strong impression during the Nationals Prospect Camp, standing out with his composure, decision-making, and ability to transition the puck effectively. His poise and puck-moving ability are among his greatest strengths, giving the Nationals another young defenceman capable of helping drive play from the blue line.
