The London Nationals are proud to announce the signing of forward Joshua Lawrance for the 2026-27 season.
The Kitchener, Ontario native joins the Nationals after spending the 2025-26 season with the Huron-Perth Lakers U18 AAA, where he recorded 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points in 21 regular-season games.
Lawrance brings a combination of speed, versatility, work ethic, and hockey IQ to the Nationals forward group. Capable of playing both centre and wing, he gives the coaching staff flexibility throughout the lineup and has shown an ability to contribute in different situations.
His speed allows him to pressure opponents and create opportunities in transition, while his strong hockey sense helps him make effective decisions with and without the puck. Lawrance also possesses a good shot, which was on display this preseason while playing with the Stratford Warriors, where he scored a couple of goals.
Prior to joining Huron-Perth, Lawrance played with the Kitchener Jr. Rangers U16 AAA, producing 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points in 30 games during the 2024-25 season. He added another 2 goals and 2 assists in 5 playoff games that year.
A player known for his strong work ethic and willingness to compete, Lawrance has continued to make an impression throughout the GOHL preseason and now officially joins the London Nationals for the upcoming campaign.
