The London Nationals are proud to congratulate Austen Pomerleau, a member of last season’s Nationals roster, on his commitment to play NCAA hockey at Wilkes University next season.
Pomerleau leaves London after two outstanding seasons with the Nationals, establishing himself as one of the organization’s most productive and impactful players. Over 91 regular-season games with the club, he recorded 54 goals and 66 assists for 120 points, becoming a consistent offensive leader and a major part of the Nationals’ success.
During the 2025-26 season, Pomerleau delivered a standout campaign, recording 30 goals and 41 assists for 71 points in 46 regular-season games. He followed that with another strong playoff performance, adding 4 goals and 3 assists for 7 points in 6 Sutherland Cup Playoff games.
His production was not a one-year story. In 2024-25, Pomerleau posted 24 goals and 25 assists for 49 points in 45 regular-season games, then added 7 points in 11 playoff games. Across two seasons in London, he consistently showed the skill, compete level, and leadership needed to make an impact in big moments.
Pomerleau also leaves his name in the Nationals record book with two franchise records. He recorded the fastest goal to start a third period, scoring just 10 seconds into the frame, and also set the mark for the fastest hat trick in franchise history at 4 minutes and 29 seconds.
Known for his offensive ability, hockey sense, consistency, and dedication to improving his game, Pomerleau made a lasting impact every time he wore the Nationals crest. His commitment to Wilkes University is a proud moment for the organization and another example of a player using his time in London to take the next step in his hockey and academic journey.
