The London Nationals are proud to announce the signing of Toms Vavilovs for the 2026-27 season.
The 6’5” Latvian forward joins the Nationals after developing with BioSteel Sports Academy U18 AAA, bringing an exciting combination of size, skill, and international experience to the organization.
Originally from Garkalne, Latvia, Vavilovs has spent the past several seasons adapting to the North American game while continuing to develop his offensive abilities against elite competition. His experience competing at a high level, combined with his strong work ethic and commitment to improvement, make him an excellent addition to the Nationals lineup.
Standing at 6’5”, Vavilovs uses his frame effectively in all three zones. He protects the puck well, creates opportunities around the net, and possesses the skating ability required to play a fast, modern style of hockey. His physical presence, reach, and offensive instincts give him the tools to make an impact at both ends of the ice.
The Nationals continue to build a roster centered on character, development, and competitiveness, and Vavilovs embodies those values. His international background and experience within one of Canada’s premier development programs provide a strong foundation as he takes the next step in his hockey journey.
