The London Nationals are proud to announce the signing of defenceman Carter Cox for the 2026-27 GOHL season.
A 5-foot-11, left-shot defenceman from Lambeth, Ontario, Cox joins the Nationals after developing through the Elgin Middlesex Canucks AAA program before spending the 2025-26 season with EPIC Sports Academy.
Throughout his minor hockey career, Cox has demonstrated steady growth on the blue line. After progressing through the Elgin Middlesex Canucks system, he continued his development with EPIC Sports Academy, gaining valuable experience at both the U16 AAA and U18 AAA levels during the 2025-26 season.
Offensively, Cox contributed 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points in 50 U16 AAA games, while also adding 7 points (5 goals, 2 assists) in 16 U18 AAA contests. He also appeared in additional Junior Prospects Hockey League competition, giving him experience against older and high-level competition.
As a left-shot defenceman, Cox brings mobility, confidence with the puck, and a willingness to join the rush when opportunities arise. His experience playing in multiple competitive environments has prepared him for the next step as he joins the Nationals.
The London Nationals are excited to welcome Carter and his family to the organization and look forward to seeing him wear the red, blue and white during the 2026-27 GOHL season.
