The London Nationals are proud to announce the signing of Latvian forward Roberts Jansons for the 2026-27 season. The 6-foot-5, right-shot forward joins the Nationals after competing with BioSteel Sports Academy U18 AAA and brings a unique blend of size, skill, and international experience to the lineup.
Born in Mārupe, Latvia, Jansons has developed his game through elite programs in both Europe and North America. His strong hockey foundation, combined with experience against high-level competition, has established him as a player capable of making an impact in all three zones.
Standing at 6’5” and over 200 pounds, Jansons uses his frame effectively while possessing the vision and puck skills to contribute offensively. During the 2025-26 season with BioSteel Sports Academy U18 AAA, he showcased his playmaking ability and continued to grow into a reliable two-way presence.
Jansons has represented Latvia throughout his development and carries with him the work ethic and pride that have become hallmarks of Latvian hockey players on the international stage. His commitment to both academics and athletics reflects the culture the Nationals continue to build within the organization.
