The London Nationals completed a trade with the St. Thomas Stars, acquiring forward Nathan Slaght in exchange for forward Braxton Mullins.
Slaght, 18, hails from Denfield, Ontario and joins the Nationals after competing this season in the Greater Ontario Hockey League, where he steadily emerged as a reliable offensive contributor. Listed at 5’10” and 165 pounds, the left-shot forward recorded 2 goals and 8 assists for 10 points across 28 games with the St. Thomas Stars in the 2025–26 season, showcasing his ability to drive play and create offense at the junior level.
Prior to his junior career, Slaght demonstrated strong production at the U18 AAA level, recording 14 goals and 24 assists for 38 points in 33 games with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks, reflecting his offensive instincts and playmaking ability.
Known for his pace, compete level, and hockey IQ, Slaght brings energy and versatility to London’s forward corps. His ability to generate scoring chances, combined with an aggressive, uptempo style, fits seamlessly with the Nationals’ identity as a fast, competitive team. Slaght’s addition provides depth up front and gives the coaching staff flexibility in building lines as the club continues preparations for the upcoming season.
The London Nationals would like to thank Braxton Mullins for his professionalism and contributions to the organization and wish him continued success with the St. Thomas Stars.
